What to Expect

 

God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth. John 4:24

 We want our worship to be pleasing to God so we look to the Bible to see what the early Christians did. When you gather with us on Sunday, this is what you will see. If you have any questions, please ask.

 

Singing

We all sing and praise God with our voices, while we edify and strengthen each other. Ephesians 5:19; Colossians 3:16

 

Praying

We pray throughout our worship, giving praise and thanks to God for His blessings. Acts 2:42; 1 Thessalonians 5:17; John 16:23-24

Communing

We take the Lord’s Supper to remember Christ’s sacrifice on the cross that washes away our sins. Acts 20:7; Luke 22:14-20

 

Giving

We give a freewill offering to support God’s work. Our guests are not expected to give. 1 Corinthians 16:1-2; 2 Corinthians 9:7

 

Teaching

We open our Bibles together to allow God to lead and instruct us from His Word. Mark 16:15-16; Acts 5:42; 2 Timothy 4:2
